How to tail a play
Step 1
Locate an Active Play
Click on the Betvisor’s profile who has an active play. A purple dot displays on the right side of their module indicating that they have a play that you have not seen yet. Clicking their module will open up their full profile where you can see & tail their active plays.
Step 7
Tip if it Hits
After validating the play with your own details, you’ll be prompted to the “Tip if it Hits” module. This feature allows you to tip the Betvisor if the play is successful. You can choose a tip percentage or amount, which will only be deducted if the bet wins. This incentivizes Betvisors to provide high-quality advice and allows bettors to show appreciation for successful plays.
Step 8
Review Your Tailed Play
After completing the tailing process, you will be taken to the ‘My Plays’ tab. Here, you can view all the details of the play you are tailing, including the odds, entry, potential winnings, and tip amount. This section allows you to keep track of your tailed plays easily.
Step 9
Use the Share Link for Easy Tailing
(Optional) Sometimes, the Betvisor includes a share link when they post the play. If available, bettors can click the share link on the play, which will open the same sportsbook the Betvisor used. In some cases, the play will automatically populate in the sportsbook, making the tailing process seamless and ensuring all details match perfectly.
Step 10
Place Your Bet with Your Sportsbook
This is a crucial step in the Betvisors process. Bettors should lock in the play with their preferred sportsbook. Recreate the play exactly as the Betvisor posted it, whether it is a straight bet or a parlay. Ensure that all details match to maximize the chances of following the Betvisor’s advice accurately.
