The platform was founded in January 2024 by Matthew and Mitchell, two brothers in the Cincinnati area, after Ohio's sports betting legalization. The “Tip if it Hits” model emerged from conversations with betting influencers who wanted to be paid for their work without putting their picks behind subscription paywalls that would erode their audience.
Betvisors is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and one-tap bet placement is integrated through Gambly, which routes bettors to their preferred sportsbook with the bet pre-built from the advisor's betslip.

How Tip if it Hits Works
The “Tip if it Hits” mechanic is the platform's defining feature. No bettor ever pays for a losing pick.
